After years of anticipation, Artificial Music Machine is proud to release the first full-length album from Numbers on the Mast, a band whose innovation and skill are well-known to Austin's experimental and improvised music community. These three individual sound artists merge their respective sonic textures into hypnotic drone compositions that slide and slither beyond the grasp of rational analysis and insinuate themselves into the subconscious mind of the listener. Crafted with restraint, subtlety, and focused intent, the dark soundscapes on this album are both intimate and disturbing. Utilizing and arsenal of sine waves and static, low frequency oscillators, pulsating tones, organic rhythms, subsonic reverberations, disembodied voices and heavily processed field recordings, Numbers on the Mast evoke otherworldly atmospheres and create a truly revelatory listening experience. We invite you to play this album alone, in the dark, with a receptive mind.

"Destined to become a drone classic, this album -- the band's first full-length release since their formation in 2002 -- turns out to be well worth the wait." - The One True Dead Angel
